our approach to teaching robotics and coding
Teaching robotics and coding to kids 7 to 17 years old depends on their age, experience, and interest. We start by teaching basic coding concepts with fun programming tools like Scratch, Code.org. and then move them into Python and C++. We use robotics kits like LEGO Spike Prime, LEGO Education Kits and LEGO Mindstorms, and VEX to give a hands-on experience building and programming robots and we do this because these tools are all part of the same Lego Robotics family and that translates into consistency when learning robotics.
This helps students apply what they learn to the real world. Each lesson block further includes easily age designed lessons on the mechanical physics, age appropriate how to calculations and robotic challenges that foster collaboration and presentation skills.
As students gain more skills, they learn more advanced programming languages like Python. They’ll also learn about algorithms, control structures and data processing. To make learning fun, we engage students in project-based tasks and contests, which helps creativity, engagement, and teamwork; the hallmark of engineering ingenuity. Students work on their individual projects at their own pace and gradually build on their skills and interests can help prepare them for advanced studies in robotics and coding.

Robotic Competitions
Your kid genius will have a chance to showcase their mind-blowing technical wizardry and leadership prowess in a series of jaw-dropping events that motivate them like rocket fuel. We're talking about FLL (First Lego League), WRO (World Robotic Organization), and our own SKR (Smart Kids Robotics) competition!
It's like the Super Bowl of genius, but with more circuits and fewer concussions!
Academic Awards & Rewards
Kids are awarded and rewarded for their achievements in robotics, coding and applied AI at every stage of our Robotics and Coding programs and at Local, National and International Robotic competitions. Several of our students won Silver Medals recently at the 2023 WRO (World Robotic Organization) competitions.
