Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating students and creating a positive learning environment in the classroom.

Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and interactive instructional sessions on Robotics & Programming using LEGO Spike Prime to Grade 4 to 12 students
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
– Assess student progress and provide feedback on performance
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in teaching
– (Optional) Coach teams to compete in Robotics & Programming competitions,
eg. FIRST LEGO League.

Skills:
– Proven experience in delivering effective instruction to Gr.4-12 students, especially elementary-level students
– Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Passion for education and a commitment to student success
– Teaching certification or license preferred but not required

Job Type:
Part-time, Casual
Pay:
• $30.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours:
• 2 – 6 per week
Additional Pay:
• Bonus pay

Schedule:
• Weekends
• Monday to Friday 4:30pm-6pm / 6:30pm-8pm
